What happens:
The Session is an elected and ordained ruling body within the local congregation. Currently we have 7 Elders active in the Session. They are as follows:

Elders have been given the responsibility to oversee all aspects of the Church. Session delegates the physical aspects, i.e. buildings to the Board of Managers, and finances to the Treasurer. This frees the Elders to concentrate upon the spiritual needs of the congregation. Each elder has a list of families to oversee. They target four visitations per year, usually prior to Communion. Elders also serve on various committees involving the Mission, Worship, Instruction, Fellowship and oversight of the Sacraments. Session is accountable to the Presbytery of Pickering. Session meetings, due to the confidentiality of the topics, are closed to the congregation.
Board of Managers
Meeting Days: 2nd Monday of each month betwen: 7:00 to 9:00 pm
Organization Activities:
The Board manages and maintains the physical aspects and upkeep of the Church property and building. The Board manages the day to day Church finances and business operations. The Board organizes various fundraising and social activities for the benefit of the Church and the congregation. Members of the Board are elected for a three-year term
